Three Hares 6" Embroidery Hoop

With early examples dating back to the 6th century, the symbol of three hairs with joined ears has appeared in Mesopotamian, Chinese and English culture among others. It can symbolise, peace, tranquility or good fortune. Hand-painted and hand-stitched, these hares are encircled with a leafy vine.

Hoop measures approx 6 x 6 inches.
